Seattle's new micro district

Pioneer Square has had it’s ups and downs. The city itself has suffered a lot in regards to paralytic policies that have resulted in what feels like insurmountable obstacles such as homelessness and drug crisis. For a long while, there was speculation to what would become of the historic city destination.

Thankfully, there have been great strides in preservation of these wonderful brick buildings. In particular focus for this blog post is the renovation project of Railspur. This multi building undertaking has been done with great attention to detail and it has not gone unnoticed.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the XO Art show, this last August. Multiple times. Wonderful artists were curated in a “Love Letters” to seattle theme.
